Back to School, is anyone ready?

Somehow Summer seems to go faster and faster every year. It’s hard to fit every thing in and I personally find it challenging to balance between wanting relax-quality time or busy-one thing after another, pack it in before the school bell rings. To all you parents out there that do it well, KUDOS to you 😉 I hope you’ve had an amazing Summer of memories for a lifetime either way.

Regardless of what our summer has held, I’ve never, not even once been ready for my kids to return to school. I’d homeschool in a New York minute lol They just grow too fast don’t they? Measured the youngest last night and he’d grown more than 4″; he’s already shot over me! Denial… just going to live it till he puts on that cap and tassel.

That being said, Back to school time is the Perfect opportunity to document where your child is in this stage of their lives. Please don’t miss it.  No matter if they hate it, (after all we’ve all learned to eat our greens and even grown to like them or most of us lol) they will value the sentiment later in life guaranteed. So do it!  I had for awhile now some ideas in my head for Back to School pictures and knew my very sweet close friend Kasie would help me out. We had the best time and the kids were perfect for the session.

 

 

Kasie now that we’ve captured these treasures of who they are and what they enjoy, they will grow like crazy while we will just look back and tear up. But we’ve got them and that’s what matters. So thankful for you and these precious blessings.

I love that these aren’t cookie cutter school pictures, it’s a time they both had fun doing and will remember. If there’s enough interest I’ll look into setting up the props for some snapshot sessions with school price prints available or simply download links.
